Well, since a few days ago somebody stole my cellphone, i decide to get a new one. I'm going to buy my new phone tomorrow, any ideas? Here's a bunch of Nokias to give you some ideas.
Of course it's not an oppo post without a car. So here's a car to make it a proper oppo post.

I have an S4 for personal use and it is fine. with I6 coming out I5 will be cheap if you can wait a couple of weeks.

I used to have an i5. It's a really good phone if you are looking for a "phone".
S4? I'm never been a fan of the samsung design language but that's a great phone.

Buy a Galaxy S5 and call it a day. I still use my S3 after 2 years and it has no issues.

Personally, I use an iPotato 5 just because I'm already so used to iOS that I don't want to change.
However, if you're a more Android sort of person, I'd recommend an LG. My friend's G2 has been rock solid and reliable in the year or so she's had it, whereas her old Samsung within eight months was crippled and slow.

It's called E-bay.
I have lots of Nokia at my home. They looks like nothing else. If Nokia were a car, it's a Volvo.

I've got a G3 and an M8 both are great. Sound is infinitely better on the M8 but I like everything else better about the G3.

Get an older Blackberry. It's the original, the purest form of smartphone.
Newer phones are all similar, hence they have no souls, no character. They are lacking in the emotions department.
Voice control, GPS, and countless apps.. MEH, that's all stuff for lazy people.
Get a proper vintage Blackberry with a MANUAL side scroll, that's the only way to really feel the data flowing under your thumb.
Also, these older Berry are fully devaluated now and you can get them for nothing.

I have a Galaxy S5 so far, and I've been quite satisfied with it. It's on the verge of being a bit too big, but videos look fantastic on it and the camera is very good. I have friends with the One M8, and they all have loved theirs thus far.

I've got the HTC One M8 and it's fantastic but since I'm assuming you're buying off contract you should get the Nexus 5, a top flight phone at a cut rate price. I was torn between the Nexus 5 and the HTC One and went with the One mostly because I could get it cheaper on contract but if I was off contract I would have gotten the Nexus 5 immediately.

iPotato is a good phone, i have to say.
Well, i'm more of classic phone user. Seriously i used to have both the iPotato and 2 droids (Fujitsu F-02E and Xperia Z Ultra), and i rarely put any apps on it.

The ecosystem you're invested in is really more important than the phone. If your digital life revolves around Google, get an Android phone. If it revolves around Apple, get an iPhone. If it revolves around Microsoft, get a Windows Phone.
All of my digital services go through Microsoft, so I have myself a Lumia 1520.

Really, i never buy any apps, rarely install an app, i use my phone only to do things i can do in my laptop, but i can't pop my laptop. And oh, GPS and camera.

The Nexus 4 camera was pretty bad, I had one. I think the Nexus 5 camera was actually supposed to be pretty good, or at least competitive. The Nexus should still be the cheapest, here in the US they are $300 unlocked I think?

Well, in Indonesia it's about 350 bucks or something. And face a stiff competition with Asus Zenfone 6.
I bet if asus sells the Zenfone in the US it'll be the nexus killer.

If Camera is important, then you can't go wrong with the higher-end Lumia phones. My 1520 and it sister phone the 930 have some of the best cameras found on any phone - period. In fact Anandtech has a review of the 930 were they rated the 930's camera higher than a Panasonic point & shoot.
If you want the best camera on any phone ever made though, you'd have to get a Lumia 1020. The internal hardware is a bit on the older side so I'd recommend not getting it just on that basis, but if the best camera is what you're after, there's literally nothing better.

It's good. Decent low light performance. The stock app is incredibly basic, which is fine for me, but there's apparently other ones available if you want more functionality. I haven't tried them though. The laser autofocus is awesome for getting pictures of my dog running around which is really difficult on other smartphone cameras.
The M8 camera has more stuff in the default app and has this neat thing where you can refocus the pictures after you take them (it works really well too). However, I just don't get as good of shots with it and focusing it where I want it initially can be sloooow.
Both are a much better than any of my previous phones.

FWIW, I have a Nexus 5. And I had a Nexus 4 before that. The camera is OK, but not spectacular. I don't really take too many photos with my phone unless I'm out and about somewhere and don't have my DSLR with me.
The phone itself (both N4 & N5) have been pretty rock solid. The only issue I ever had was with the N4 when it upgraded to Kit Kat and Bluetooth kept dropping. I think they're the best value in phones right now, if you can use one on your network.

My suggestion:
Narrow it down to your 2 favorite phones. Get one and then return it and pay the restocking fee if you don't like it and get the other one. It's worth paying restocking to not get stuck with a phone for 2 years.
Smartphones are like cars. You don't know for sure if you can live with it day to day until you use it for a week or two.

I'd like to give a Sony phone a chance, but they give next to -0- support in the US. They delay the release of phones months behind the rest of the world, and good luck getting Android updates, if ever.

They do get updates. But 0 support, well, sort of true.
It's like using a JDM Smartphone. i used to have a JDM Fujitsu F-02E, and it has all of todays tech hype (Full HD Screen, 2GB RAM, 64GB Storage, Fingerprint Sensor, Water resistant, and 16mp camera) all back in 2013 for mere sniff of 350USD. It's brilliant.
